Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
doublestack is built to help your sales team win conversations. This policy sets out what it’s for, what it isn’t, and what we’ll act on if we see misuse.
If you’re not sure whether something is allowed, ask: legal@doublestack.app.
What doublestack is for
doublestack is internal sales support. The arguments it produces are a starting point for the salesperson, not a finished script for the buyer. The intended use is:
- Preparing for a buyer conversation
- Reframing weaker specs into stronger arguments
- Answering objections during a live sales dialogue
- Writing follow-up messages
That’s the scope. Use it inside that scope, and you’re fine.
You are responsible for the output
doublestack analyses sources and generates new arguments. It doesn’t read the future, and it doesn’t always read the present perfectly. Specs change. Reviews get updated. Markets shift.
Before you pass a doublestack-generated statement to a buyer, check it. Especially when the statement involves:
- Concrete vehicle specifications (range, consumption, charging speed, capacity)
- Pricing
- Service history or mileage
- Direct comparisons with competitor vehicles
- Claims about superiority over a named competitor
The salesperson is the commercial communicator. If a buyer is misled by a statement you made, marketing law holds you responsible, not the engine that helped you prepare. We can’t fix that for you. The product is designed to help you prepare well; the verification step is yours.
What you can’t do
You cannot use doublestack to:
- Scrape, bulk-extract, or systematically harvest content from the service beyond ordinary use by your sales team
- Use automated tools, scripts, or integrations not authorised by us to interact with doublestack
- Reverse-engineer the service or try to bypass its technical limits
- Remove source attribution from quoted material. When doublestack marks something as a quotation with a source, that attribution must travel with the quote.
- Present doublestack output as someone else’s reporting. If you forward an argument to a buyer, it’s your message, not the journalist’s whose review informed it.
- Make claims you can’t substantiate. Comparative statements about competitors require documentation. doublestack helps you find evidence; it doesn’t manufacture it.
- Process personal data we haven’t agreed to. Don’t paste medical histories, financial records, ID numbers, or other sensitive categories into buyer profiles. doublestack isn’t designed for them.
- Use the service to infringe someone’s rights. Copyright, trademark, marketing law, competition law. The usual list.
- Use the service for anything illegal, wherever you operate.
- Share your login. Each user gets their own account.
What we’ll do if you do
If we see misuse, we’ll usually contact you first. If the misuse is serious, ongoing, or poses a risk to third parties, we may suspend access immediately and contact you afterwards.
For repeated or wilful breaches, we can terminate your account. The Terms of Service handle the contractual side.
Reporting misuse
If you think someone is misusing doublestack, through your account or anyone else’s, tell us at legal@doublestack.app. We take it seriously.
Why this exists
doublestack handles editorial material from third parties under specific legal exceptions (temporary processing, citation, text and data mining under Danish and EU copyright law). Those exceptions hold up when the service is used the way it’s designed to be used. This policy is the part you do, so the part we do stays defensible.
For the underlying legal reasoning, our counsel’s opinion on the design of the service is available on request.
